About Me
As the Editor in Chief of The University Observer, I lead a team of talented writers and editors who produce engaging and insightful articles on various aspects of current affairs and pop culture. I am passionate about creating and launching new features, such as "One Issue, One Trope", that explore the themes and tropes of contemporary media and culture.
I have a Master of Arts in Gender, Sexuality, and Culture from University College Dublin, where I developed my critical and analytical skills and gained a deeper understanding of the social and cultural dimensions of identity, representation, and power. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from The University of Geneva and a cosmopolitan upbringing that exposed me to different languages, cultures, and perspectives.
I am fluent in French and English and have written for various publications, including TOPO Genève and Missy. ie. I have been nominated and shortlisted for multiple awards for my journalism and cultural writing, such as the SPA Awards 2024 and 2023 and 2024 National Student Media Awards.
